Fish Meal

Fish meal is produced from 100% Black Sea anchovy (Engraulis encrasicolus). Kobyalar fish meal contains digestible high protein levels and is rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Kobyalar fish meal contains essential amino acids for animal growth. The animals which have fish meal in their diets have strong immune system.

Kobyalar fish meal contains; high protein min 72%, high digestible protein, Omega3 fatty acids EPA + DHA, Vitamins and minerals.

Fish meal is mainly used as feed ingredient in aquaculture, pig farming and poultry industries.

Fish Meal Production

The processing methods of fish meal is important to keep nutritional values of fish meal fresh.

Fish meal is manufactured by cooking, pressing, separation and drying steps. After cooking and pressing, the solid part which is called “presscake”, goes to dryers and the liquid part (water + oil) goes to separation. After the separation of fish oil, the remaining liquid part is called “stickwater”.

Stickwater is rich in nutrients especially soluble proteins. Stickwater is concentrated in falling film evaporators and added to presscake to be dried. After drying process, fish meal is packed and stored in good conditions before delivered to customers.

All the processes run under HACCP and GMP+ B2 rules.
