Rainbow Trout (Turkish Salmon)

Our Turkish Salmon (Rainbow tout) are healthy and delicious.

The fresh cool waters of Black Sea are optimal for farming of Turkish Salmon (Rainbow Trout). Compared to other seas in Turkiye, the Black Sea is cooler throughout the year. The salinity in the Black Sea is also below that of other seas. This is due to the abundant rainfall in the Black Sea and the large amount of fresh water brought by the streams flowing into the sea.

We ensure optimal nutrition from hatchery to harvest with our own feed production plant and experienced team. Turkish Salmon (rainbow trout) are reared in dam lakes between November and May, when they weigh 750-1000g, they are taken into cages in Black Sea for their final growth. Generally Turkish Salmon (rainbow trout) spend 6 – 8 months in the sea. They show exponential growth rates in the sea. Salmon trout are harvested when they reach market sizes between 2.5 – 5 kg.
